Now that Spring is officially here, it’s time to stretch our wings just as mother nature prompts us. Let’s broaden our ideas about where lettering can live and thrive. Tonight we’ll use the most living and loving surface available – each other.
Binders has, for some time now, transformed it’s opening corner of the floor into a showcase of body painting supplies: tools, paints, mediums, and prosthetics. I’ve walked past that front entrance for long enough to finally ask what the big deal was all about. If you can draw a beautiful letter, you can do it with a brush, and you can do it on a body. Professional Body Painter, Antonio Tiggs, will be answering the technical questions we may have about how to use the materials, and after his demo, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a body painting exercise where we’ll be lettering on each other. So, wear a short sleeved shirt, sundress, tank top, or shorts, so we’ll have all the room we need to experiment and have fun.
